Background
I received my PhD in Philosophy from the Ruhr Universität Bochum, with a dissertation titled "Embodied remembering: exploring the subject in episodic recollection" under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Markus Werning and Prof. Dr. Dr. Thomas Fuchs.
In my dissertation, I investigated issues related to embodied remembering. More precisely, the four self-standing articles that compose the dissertation examine the role of embodied subjectivity in episodic memory cognition by bridging two philosophical fields, i.e., the philosophy of memory and the phenomenology of embodied subjectivity.
Before my PhD studies, I was a research intern at the Husserl Archive, Albert-Ludwigs-Universität Freiburg, where I worked on Husserl's genetic phenomenology and the notion of inner-time consciousness. I completed my M.A. in philosophy at the University of Catania (Italy), during which I visited the University of Warsaw (Poland) to work on my thesis on aesthetics and phenomenology.
